Sheriff’s Office

The function of the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office is to protect life and property by providing the highest level of professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Edgefield County. The goals of the Sheriff’s Office are to reduce both crime and the fear of crime throughout the community. The duties of the Sheriff’s Office include management of the Detention Center, animal control, and litter enforcement. We are dedicated to working with all entities in our community and citizens alike.
