The Edgefield County Auditor and staff of the Edgefield County Auditor’s Office is to provide the citizens of Edgefield County with accuracy and courtesy in the performance of their responsibilities. These responsibilities include the taxation of personal property such as, cars, trucks, motor homes, campers, trailers, motorcycles, watercraft and watercraft motors, merchant’s furniture, fixtures, and equipment, aircraft, and manufacturer’s real and personal property. The Auditor’s office also accepts and certifies homestead exemption applications.
