Recreation

Edgefield County Recreation Department oversees programs throughout the year for kids ranging in ages 4-14.   We offer soccer for 4-12 year olds in the spring and fall, Football and cheerleading for ages 6-12 in the fall, basketball for ages 6-12 in the winter, baseball for ages 4-14 in the spring and girls softball for ages 6-12 in the spring.  We have a pickleball program at the town gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays for all ages throughout the year. We also oversee the operation of Edgefield County Recreation Park on Bettis Academy Road.   The park includes 5 baseball fields, football/soccer field, 2 basketball courts, 1 mile paved walking track, playground and picnic shelter with grills.
